Built in 1976, Station 53 is located at 906 Kamus Drive, Fox Island and is among the three oldest buildings in the District.  This is also a volunteer station and houses resident firefighters.  The station has 1092 square feet of living space and 1908 square feet of apparatus floor space.  The station also has 19,658 square feet of lighted and paved drill ground.
