Built in 1987, located at 10302 Bujacich Rd. N.W. next door to the
Headquarters and Training Station. Station 58 is a 24 hour
staffed station, running an engine company and a medic unit, and it serves as the
emergency station for the District Headquarters and training grounds. Station 58 has
3,820-sq. ft. of living space and 2,470-sq. ft. of apparatus floor. It also has
a training with the capacity of 32 people, and a 57,000 sq. ft. of drill ground around the back of the building. The
station is powered by a 30 kw. Diesel genset with a built in 60 gallon tank. The
station has a fire alarm and sprinkler system. The station is built on a large
concrete slab. The exterior walls of the apparatus bay are poured 8" thick
cement blocks and the exterior walls of the rest of the building are 2x6 on 16"
centers with ½" plywood covered with cedar siding. The whole roof has
pre-manufactured wood trusses on 24" centers with 5/8" sheathing and covered
with composition shingles.
