Public Education

“If it is predictable, it is preventable.”

It is estimated that 90% of all unintentional injuries are preventable.  University Place Fire Department is working to prevent unintentional injuries through its Fire and Life Safety Programs.  The Public Education Lieutenant oversees these programs.  With the help of firefighters and staff many quality programs are offered to the community of University Place.
